Capital Improvement Project: Phase II

	KLETC's EVOC driver training course features multiple driving environments and surfaces.
	Officers will encounter and experience various driving scenarios.
	The 1.78 mile EVOC course features asphalt, concrete and gravel driving surfaces.
	The extended straightaway features recessed lane directional lights.
	Instructors can observe students from raised instructor mounds at various points along the course or from a safety tower.
	A 200' X 300' skid pan will be used to help teach vehicle skid control.
	An on-site classroom building will house KLETC's three driver training simulators.
	The new vehicle storage building can accommodate up to 20 EVOC training vehicles.
	KLETC will store its fleet of 14 EVOC driver training vehicles in the new facility.
